Global Forum on Migration and Development (GFMD) launches its websites |
Manila, Philippines- The Philippine Government is pleased to announce the launching
of the official websites for the 2nd Global Forum on Migration and Development (GFMD)
Meeting in Manila this year. The websites are a collaborative effort of the Department of
Foreign Affairs and the Ayala Foundation, which is organizing the Civil Society
component of the meeting. The websites for the GFMD Philippines 2008 and the GFMD
Belgium 2007 can be accessed through http://gfmd2008.org. Keying in
http://government.gfmd2008.org will directly lead readers to the Government Meeting
site.
The sites offer information on the preparations by the Philippines of the 2nd GFMD to be
held at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC) on 27-30 October 2008.
Each site includes Pre-conference Schedules, Delegation Information, Roundtable
Themes, Downloadable Documents and other pertinent information on the GFMD.
Relevant contact information on the Philippine GFMD Task Force and the GFMD Civil
Society Days Secretariat are available on the corresponding websites.
